I'm back. I disappeared for a while after my son arrived home and told me a fox ran into the back garden as he pulled onto the drive. I went out, put my hand on a slug that was on top of the picket gate (euch!) and then nearly tripped over a hedgeho*. Didn't see foxy but Hunting Cat did his usual trick of leaping out of the bushes & grabbing my ankle as I went to go back down the steps. (I'll swear he giggles as he does that!)
