Featherbee, gotta go but I just wanted to say I just went through this with little Walter, and yes, it is tough dealing with when and what they want to eat and drink but it gets sorted out in the end! Have to just let 'em draw their lines and make their demands when they're sick and in recovery. I'm never happy with how much he eats and drinks, and what, at these times, but he always ends up OK.

Longevity no problem, this woman's dogs are living to 13 and even older. But we do have a temperament prblem (not a problem here in the home, but for example we can't leave her outside the supermarket for ten minutes like everyone else's dogs), and the neck thing is a worry. We thought it probablky would go to wobblers there for a while, but it stabiulized and we just have to use a harness onstead of a collar and be careful who we let her play with; she may end up needing steroids when she hits arthritic age. These things happen--it's teh breeder's don't-want-to-know attitude we don't like, and when Saskia's getting on we'll go with a friend of ours we met after we got her who breeds some mighty fine blues. Anyway, really gotta go for a while now!

it's a great service by only one of the connecticut grocers (large chain Stop and Shop). drawback is not everything is always available, but some of the specials are good and the produce is awesome cuz it comes directly from the warehouse and hasn't been "fondled" by everyone
