Ketamine (horse tranquilizer) is a dirty word to me... someone spiked my underweight (due to just geeting out of 3 years in a clinic)'s daughter with it in a club. She spent 1 and a half hours on the pavement being worked on my paramedics.

I was 'lucky' in a way when it first gripped my daughter because she was only 12/13 and so under my care. Me and her Dad tried for a long time to cope with it, but when we saw her wight dangerously low, we had her committed. Put in a 'nut house'. We had to do it to save her life.

She's alive now, and does eat, though the combinations of things she sometimes eats might make most normal eaters want to throw up. She lurches from one unsuitable relatiionship to the next and is driving me to drink (really!). But she's our daughter, we love her.

she was in a normal secure unit for some months the was lucky to get into a specialist centre, shes never gonna be well but she survives

ADHD - she is supposed to be intherapy but rarely turns up for it. In these money conscious times, she's been flipped off 2 or 3 lists now. Her comment on that is that 'most of her pub mates' are on her side and, if anyone argues, the 6 foot 7 inches tall bouncr, who calls her 'Little One' will defend her.

oh amber so sad. my sister is 50 and you can count every rib thru her clothes. she goes from doctor to doctor getting percocets and valium. she was hospitalized for what was thought to be a stroke and was told she was severely depressed. she called me and when I agreed w/the doctor, she yelled and screamed and didn't call for months.
