Oh bless you toadette! Just read your profile. My hubby was in Iraq with the first flotilla of ships (the Ark Royal) when the invasion happened. We had only been together a few months but knew it was meant to be. He came home after 7 months and funnily enough I fell pregnant almost straight away!! misdiagnosed as reflux..daughter was misdiagnosed for 9 years. it's (usually) caused by food allergies, but non-iGe mediated ones (don't cause immediate reaction)..we **think** her trigger is dairy...very painful..esophagus erodes

the problem with allergies is figuring out which triggers cause which symptoms... and when sometimes they are "additive" I can eat squash now that I no longer eat things from cows, but when I was little pumpkin pie made my mouth ulcerate. that was back when no one thought to test for a dairy problem.

yes, Stid, i know what you mean. I feel like we grew up in the dark ages of allergies! Kielen is tough because she had so many false positives on RAST test..showed she was allergic to lettuce, potatoes...so we have to go more by "real world" reactions..
