The Mark Twain play Is He Dead? was rediscovered among his papers at the UC-Berkley's Bancroft library in 2002. Apparently Twain wrote it after successfully emerging from bankruptcy but it was never staged, presumably in part due to his "roasting" a well-known French painter. The play tickled my funny bone and glad my tix not affected by strike.
