Bubba, some (like my nephew) are there for experimental or specialized treatment not available elsewhere and their bill's are being paid for by Medicare --- some are there because it is an emergency and our hospitals are full. We have a great shortage of doctors and nurses ---- in some cases they leave after training here for the $$$$$$ US hospitals are willing to pay them.
