I think that you need to look at many factors with new drugs. Age of patient, type of issue being addressed with new drugs... those kind of things for instance. I think when you are looking down the barrel of a disease that may potentially kill you (after all life is but a march to death) sooner rather than later, sometimes the FDA is too slow.
