I am a native NYer born and bred...I love living here..dont know anything else..I live in Brklyn and know the city so I am quite at home here...grew up in Manhattan...mass transit is fine...they might have to travel in off hours, rush hour can be traumatizing at first..lots of cultural activites..will never get bored...just getting to know NYC is a hoot

hi, all. I am so much better today. my husband's episode yesterday was due to his having taken his medication for pain too late in the evening the night before last. He is fine today, just staying home to rest. My daughter is not feeling too well, but she has a doctor's appointment this afternoon, and may go to the hospital before that. Turns out the woman whose fault the accident was does have insurance, which is a very good thing. I took a mental health day myself yesterday, and managed to get some rest also.

we have dogs and cats come here for jr and sr surgery classes from the local shelters. then we can take them home if we want. it's always very tempting . i adopted Milo from one of the classes and he is fantastic. he picked me too - wouldn't let me put him back in his cage - kept jumping on me before i could shut the door:)
