I wish peope would participate but many deliberately ignore them.To me, they are half the fun, but obviously most don't care. So be it.

Great, now I get to be more worried. Just called the doctor, and teh secretary said thet the lab results look like Walter doesn't have mono but that the doctor said the results were very unclear so they will call the lab and get it figutred out and then call me. I was hoping for a just plain positive test for teh mono so I would know what was going on ands that he is in the recovery phase. Argh!

Just answered an e-mail from my husband. Elder, what's heppening is that I did call, and the secretary said the ersults are in but did not look like mono but were very confusing. Lab results should not be very confusing, so the doctor is trying to get in touch with the lab to clarify things. Then I will be called back. I know these things take time. OK, now I really am going to go cook something and eat it. Back soon. Will keep you posted too. OK, doctor called. Turns out the lab results show that he's in general OK for all kinds of esoteric stuff like the sedimentation rate and so forth, but that they don't yet have a definitive answer on teh EBV (the mono virus). When she said that it did not look like mono, it was based on the lack of something or other I looked up yesterday in teh sample, an dit is true that only 50 - 75% of childdren get that in the blood if it is mono, but almost all adults do. So I need to call again tomorrow, and if it has not yet come in I need to call my own doctor Monday when he's back from his vacation. Now I will e-mail all this to my husband. BRB.
