might be resulting from exhaustion as well, mrP. If som ething is deadly for one's mindset, it is chronic pain and the resulting loss of energy. It takes a saint to stay positive and grateful when totally exhausted, and God knows neither of us is one ;)

there is no 'easy' way off... I am very much supported by my doctors and I have alot of experience coming off meds. I have been doing it for 8 years!
I would certainly suggest the slow cut down.... but definitely cut down at a particular date and stick through it. The body does adjust if you do it gradual

Start making demands on them to get you down if you are no longer needing that level of pain management.
I certainly made sure I had a plan, otherwise I was too wasted and hated every day of it

ok, Drove a total of 12 hours to get to destination. rode bicycles around a lake, played putt putt golf, went on a paddle wheel boat where we feed tortoises and eels, played tennis, saw a snake, horses, lizards, A whale breaching out of the ocean, then went to 3 theme parks where we slid down 12 different water slides, saw sharks, polar bears, dolphins and seals performing, water skiers doing tricks. Haha, Liz! I pretended I was in the UK yesterday. A local wealthy family donated a large pa4 of their farmland to serve as a public park and working farm. There are rolling hills, old trees, woods, pathways in the woods for hiking and for horseback riding, ponds...beautiful! We sat next to the pond, watched geese and ducks, ate lunch and talked.
