yeah ... that's kind of where I run up against barriers too. I have done on and off over a few years. It's the one thing I'd really like to do, and I know I'm really good at it, but I've only had experience working on scientific manuscripts and a few published short stories. And I can't work out how to get from there to trying to make it a profession.

ta muchly. we have a bay in our recovery room, directly opposite theatre 2 door. problem. the doctors, nurses and techs all use the patient door, instead of the side doors into theatre. if my patient is conscious and fully aware of what is going on, when the staff fling open the theatre door, the patient can see directly into the theatre.

yes granny, they do that at the hospital I am at... when I am being prepped for surgery, I am facing away from theatre each time... people are coming and going preparing the theatre and they don't want patients freaked by looking in, so we are 'parked' with our head facing well away
