i gave him watered down juice instead of milk. he's sounding better now that he's been upright and cuddled for a while.

oh i kin tell you how to make it, it's real easy. get a bag of beans (i get 16 beans at stop & shop) and some stock and some hamhocks or bones and some onions of some sort (i like scallions) and i like to add potatoes. put it all in a pot and simmer for about 4 hours. remove hocks/bones. i like to puree some and then add it back in to thicken it.
