oh! Yes, that was a virus. Caya is almost as good as new, though still tires a little too quickly. But even that is improving now. I thought same went for me, but got a fever again yesterday. New or old bug, don't know yet. Took a long sleep this night and hope it killed it in the bud :)

it only happened once,the turkey was in its final stages,foil was off and the top secret basting process had begun...he opened up the oven door and slid out the rack half way for a final basting with the golden juices in the bottom of the pan..then it happened..the pin/fastener thoat hel the back part of the rack let og and the qwhole shelf tipped down and the pan with the bird in it slid onto the oven doorand as the pan hit the lip for the lil glass window,the whole thing tipped over on its side and the beautifull golden brown tv turkey slid towards the drop off(now is a good time to mention that we had a small kitechen at this time) the bird slid off the oven door,onto the floor and right into the utillity closet where it so happens we kept the cat litter box.yup you guessed it,it hit the box and that lovely bird was showered with cat litter and cat poo-poo.damn cat ate turkey for weeks;((

ok..my secret for perfect turkey....give it a long soaking bath in a whole bottle of white wine...overnight... stuff in am...rub in salt and pepper ( not seasoned salt..just salt)....foil over top until last hour..baste in the wine....easy beasy and absolute perfection every time..( and some serious kick ass gravy to boot)

I have to admit I have never seen the films, didn't like the book and usually work on the principle the films are usually worse than the books. Have promised Hubby (a LOTR fanatic) I will watch them with him but have managed to stall him for over 2 years
