Rhubarb, in my opinion, can only be made excellent by people over the age of 65. Especially grandmas. I've had bad, decent, good, and even great rhubarb elsewise, but the only fantastic/excellent rhubarb I've had has been made by that generation (especially my grandmother, who made strawberry rhubarb jam for waffles)
