I posted all of our property this year, because for one thing, despite that fact that we have annual wars about whose garden it is, I am very found of "our" deer, but also because of the risk from those few who are really careless. It made me nervous to hear shots so close to the house. I haev very mixed feelings about it. I hate seeing anything killed, but also know that many of my neighbors have hunted very respectfully since childhood and depend on the meat to make it economically, and also that without the hunting, giventhe absence of natural predators (although some are coming back) the herd will overpopulate and starve to death.

okay, I had an MRI on my bad hip on Monday -- with gadolinium injection in the joint. The MRI was a piece of cake, but the joint has limited extension (flexion is almost back to normal in all directions), and there is continuing pain in the joint.

hey Eva..When I cut our kitty's claws ...I would entice them with butter or oleo. Vet said it was good for hairballs. They still did not enjoy the clipping, but it went much faster for both of us and they loved the butter.
