My paper is very similar to one my parents put in my bedroom when I was about 6. I picked at the seam and some came off and I filled it in with crayon. I got into trouble for 'the deceit' rather than the paper ripping.

speaking of dogs, the mating of Dana and Gitaan went very well! First day nothing happened, Dana wasn't ready then. But from 2nd day on they did great together. The breeder just told us Gitaan was so gentle with Dana, he even licked her around the eyes to calm her :)

I have a damaged pelvic girdle, so I have to be careful. We decided to get a dog from a good breeder, rather than get one from the dog shelter, because our dog has to be trained very well from the start so it will not make me fall or trip.

they are small, but very much REAL dogs. Not a pet breed, despite their size. Ata helped me pick the breed, she knows her spaniels :)

dogs are just wonderful. I was on the beach the other day and a man came past with 3 boston terriers (I think, ish, anyway) and 2 were waggy and confident, and the 3rd was all tail-between-legs and wary as he came up to Hobbit. She wiggled at him, and then he came over to me, all cowered too. But I leant down and stroked him, and you should have seen the difference! He perked up and wiggled and wagged and his eyes went all shiny and happy

Recommended every two years. It's really cool if they put it up on a screen while they're doing it. Course, it's hard to see if you've been dilated. Makes things very blurry for a few hours. They lie and tell you it will only last for an hour, but it always lasts much longer.

I got three cortisone shots which made it bearable then physical therapy and being careful. It took, I hate to tell you, a year before I could say it was REALLY better. But only weeks before I could see the direction it was headed.

Its been two years and I am only occasionally reminded by it that I need to take care of my back. I still do the therapy exercises twice a week and make sure I bend at the knees. That hackneyed advice is true.

Hi MG...I have had issues with my back for 20 years. 5/6 visits to a good chiropractor gets it back to normal if it really goes back. I now benefit from monthly maintenance trips to chiro. You learn to live with it - and what movements to avoid - like raking leaves!

Hmmm. OK. Well, as I said, mine has seemingly stabilized this week, after five months of etting worse. My orthopedist doen;t feel I'm a good cantidate for the shots, and i have already had all the ohysical therapy my insurabce will pay for, with no result, and seven acupuncture treatments (which, quite to my surprise, having had good resultes befoire, made it worse). OK. I did 2 1/2 years of severe RSI a while back, and 2 years with the smashed up knee, and 1 year with the smashed up foot... I can hold ouyt with this one. Thanks for the info.

The idea is to get the inflammation down enough that the disk can heal. The physical therapy didn't help instantly but it did allow me to get to a place where I could protect myself--then I had to start exercises to protect the knees I kept bending!

My choir entered a National competition with the BBC earlier on in the year, I was able to sing in the audition tape, but then I went to Australia for six weeks, and missed the actual broadcasts. The choir reached the last 25 out of thousands, so we weren't disgraced!
