They put in a massive concrete liner, then a giant metal trash bin that fits in there neatly and has a small box on the top with a rolly hatch. You put your resident card on the scanner and the hatch unlocks, put the trash bag in the aperture, close the hatch, and the trash drops into the bin. Onve a week a big truck comes and uses a hook to picke the whole bin up, hold it over the truck, and open the bottom. Then they put it back in the ground.
