The plastic gyro in the Pacific is manmade and needs to be dealt with, as does all throwing away heedlessly of litter. Most things can b recycled and those that can't, like polystrene, aren't really need anyway. Plastic air bubble wrap (in all sies) sorts out the packing needs. Strong cardboard does the rest.

well matty -- all I can say is that I was 4 when I had the mumps and I still remember... it sucked. I had the first measles vaccine because when my mother was a child and had measles she was very ill. I had an extreme case of chickenpox... and my children received the vaccine because I didn't want them to deal with how horrible that felt, either. I just wish my flu shot this year had worked!!!

Thing is, many childhood conditions manifest at around the same time as the jabs are given. This does not make the link causal.

I had JRA (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis). I didn't have the MMR, I'm 41 years old, the jabs were separate then. I did have a favourite blanket though, which was taken away at age 5. And gosh, that's when I started to suffer from stiff necks. Wow! That must be it! I'd better sue blanket manufacturers.

Sorry to be flippant, but do you see my point? I have every sympathy for parents who watch their children suffer with autism or arthritis or any other childhood condition, but a jab that actually and demonstrably prevents three serious conditions is not to blame, and it's frankly irresponsible to suggest it is.
