I had to keep my wedding small, so I only invited couples who were living together... not just 'going out'. It made it simple and easy to understand. My now SIL wasn't invited cause she was a girlfriend (only just met my brother), and my ex BF didn't have his girlfriend invited cause they were not 'committed'.
I don't know if that makes sense to anyone, but I think it helped us to make it much easier with invites.

I have a lovely little girl myself - she's a mongrel though, a rescue adopted from a shelter. She's probably about the size of yours, only light-boned, and she's smooth-coated, solid black except for a tiny white streak on her chest and resembles a small Labrador, sort of. Her mum was a Whippet-cross, her father unknown - I suspect she has some Poodle in her though.

She was given up along with all her littermates, Liz. Someone whose dog had had an accidental litter they couldn't find homes for - irresponsible with the mother, I guess. I'm a big advocate of spaying and neutering. There are so many lovely dogs being put down all the time for lack of homes - the need is so great. That's why I could never buy a purebred puppy.
