take a white plate, place it on the floor with a light directly on it, squirt some dish soap in it, then fill it with water. The fleas are attracted to the white and the light and jump in, and the soap increases the surface tension of the water so they get trapped and cannot get out. Works great.

I just found a piece of paper that my 5 year old daughter was practicing her letters on. She didn't know what she was copying but she was copying a form letter for letter.
