I think the pool situation is just that the lids are sort of freaked out at that age, whereas at 2-3 they really dont seem to be, but floating in a pool is less difficult than strapping on skates...I think.

yes, that's what I'm thinking. IN the end the swimming gets expensive as well, as kids eventually need lane rentals, the new expensive suits and private coaching, but int he beginning it's easier to start young so the kids aren't afraid of the water.

I think you can stay inexpensive in swimming and still have fun. It doesn't have to be super competitive. But, skating, no matter how you do it costs a lot. The skates, ice time, coaching, costumes, entry fees to competitions, travel, etc.

Three ch5/14s for me I am done! Now here is a story of clues.I had a he 6/27 day today. First I walked my friend's dog who is a ro 4/4 pain in the arse.
