Hi all. Just wanted to say, I may have told this story before, that when my Mum went to collect my Dad's ashes, she didn't tell me and went down the village alone to get them. She took a shopping basket to put the red plastic 'urn' (more like a big coffee jar) in. She also needed to get a loaf of bread, so did so and popped it on top of my Dad's remains. As she was waiting to go over the zebra crossing, someone she vaguely knew came up and asked, 'How's your husband doing?' She had this tremendous urge to say, 'Well, he's dead, actually, but if ou want to see him, he's here under this loaf.'

Jellen - when you get back - as for nagging him or 'talking to him', as we women would call it - you can do that whether he's in his urn with you or scattered/buried. Men! They think they escape us through death, but they don't. Love keeps them coming back to keep an eye on things, to make sure we're okay and not 'making a mess of things'. You just wait until you are trying to do something that Tim would have known all about or how to do... he'll find a way of helping you.

Tell you what, those furry cattle are b*ggers to dictate to. If you want to move docile dairy cattle around, it's fairly easy... follow the leader and all that. Not so with the ginger highlanders - they go every which way but the one that you want them to, men and dogs ignored.

jmc - I do have to say that Welsh Blacks ar nearly as irksome as the hairy highland cattle and are probably more bad-tempered. How would a Masai Warrior with his lion scaring colours do against one of those? Again, not very well, methinks. Cattle and Cats are very different.

The one think the Masai do do, unlike other tribes, is to be Western enough to make money from tourists ad allow themselves to be filmed to bfring in more tourists. They also don't care if they bathe in and their cattle drink in the only available waterhole for other tribes. I don't have much time for the Masai, because they think themselves abvoe other tribes/neighbours.

I "supply" teach high school math ... and I ran into an award winning 30 year old history teacher who was given some major award for using War Craft as an exercise to give high school juniors a sense of the reality of war ... I could sense my father rising from his grave to give this lady a shake
