2 cups chopped turkey (deboned, skinned) - placed in crockpot; saute 2 cups chopped celery, garlic, 1 large onion diced; and 4 large carrots sliced; add to crock pot. Add 1 can whole kernel corn (drained); 1 can Red Gold diced tomatoes (not drained); 1 carton of Swanson chicken broth (low salt, no MSG). I added salt, black pepper, red pepper, dash of paprika, parsley, marjoram, basil, teeny bit of thyme and cooked it all day in the crock pot.

Well the hen house is fairly cosy, but their inner run is covered and has a deep layer of wood chippings. In the snow they don't venture out of that small run. I don't do anything extra for them except keep the water unfrozen. They have their own in-built duvets at night and can cuddle up close.

ooh, we tried to see everything but just couldn't do it.. Paris is incredible.. we did manage to walk and climb our legs off, good thing.. felt less guilty visiting the patisserie (-: lemme see.. Louvre, Montremonte,Champs Elysee, Arch d'Triomphe, Old Opera, the list goes on.. every day was wonderful.. COLD but wonderful.. Seine River cruise in the snow!

Just a bit of useless information I was sad enough to work out after my daughter's graduation ceremony. 704 females graduated but only 250 males. However, the subject matters covered may have influenced this. Most were teaching or childcare, English or theology degrees, my daughter got a BA in History and Politics.
