sad for sure, a couple of years ago several of us on another game site started a fund to buy one of our fellow buddies a PC - he was going to have to give up the site because his was so old and junky, he's raising his kids alone, etc. we contributed, one person bought it and sent it, he got it... it was one of the nicest things I've ever been involved in.
