he is! I should update his picture; going to kick him out in the field this weekend i think, as he's started leaving hay in his feeder or wasting it on the ground, and is more interested in the other horses than in eating constantly now.

hah! yeah, he looks lots better--grew in a nice undercoat by mid january, so not as patchy and chewed up looking. still underweight, of course, but at least now he's starting to look less like someone threw an old hide over a rack and more like a skinny horse :)
