I'm allergic to cats; but we always seem to end up with one or another somehow. Most of the ones we get are farm cats; the one we have now was the Aunty's and she's declawed but was dropped off on a farmroad as a kitten (already declawed) and taken in by a friend of a friend of my daughters. They had outside farm cats and didn't know what to do with a declawed cat; no one claimed her; so she was passed along til Aunty got her at about 8 yrs old
