It's my experience that I have going for me right now. I worked at the Wall Street Journal until I was laid off. I have several published article credits. But the competition for jobs in the NYC area is difficult because there are many librarians/researchers here without jobs. i did work at a public library but that experience showed me that public libraries are not the best place for me. I'm not a customer service person--it took me months to learn how to use the register to make change for fines, photocopiers, etc.

BR, i have 2 very dear friends who are like you, and one thing i cannot stand is how some well-intentioned peeps tell them , that all they have to do is this or that...how can they, when it is a major decision to get out of bed each morning. sometimes i could scream with frustration.

I have been to at least 15 different professionals and tried over twenty different medications .... some of the therapists have walked out in the middle of a session telling me I do not have a personality conducive to therapy ... and the psychiatrists tell me I can stop the medications because the placebo effect is at least as great as the chemicals.
