it is indeed and between treatments,if he is home for the weekends for example and treated through the week,the home environment must be as normals as it can be and quiet.while on chemo all spicy and flavourfull foods will be hard for him(each persons reactions to chemo is different) but bland foods may be the order for the say,a scrambled egg, and keep some freezies and vanillia ice cream in the freezer.ensure meal replacement drinkks from the pharmacy but all drinks including water must be ice cold as after a while you taste the chemo in your mouth,yyou sweat it out ,it is all pervasive and anything intense will make you vomit
