Absolutely do the home nurse. My best friend is taking care of her 83-year-oldl mother who fell and broke a hip and it is just about killing her. Her mother doesn't want a "stranger" in the house. Typically, she doesn't care how hard it is for her daughter...don't even get me started on that one.

I have a feline buddy that comes to my front deck almost daily, for a few months now. A sweet, cuddly Siamese with stunning blue eyes. I feed him and love him up. Word is that he belongs to a neighbor.

he lost a bunch of weight. the vet tested his blood and urine. some kidney levels were just slightly elevated, nothing serious, so she just had me switch him to wet food. only the whole reason he's always been a skinny cat is that he is just not that into food. and with wet food you have to consume more volume to get the same calories. so it has been a challenging few weeks getting him to a point where he is willing to eat what he should.

I was raised in the Cincinnati area and am glad that's where I grew up---really good people. Bugs, I'd LOVE to move to Seattle. It's so beautiful there. I can spend hours at Pike's Place Market. The ferry rides are amazing, too. Love looking at the San Juans. No state income tax in WA and no state sales tax in OR, so you live in WA and shop in OR. I need to live somewhere cold, Gwen, as these days I look so much better with more clothes on.
