Here is my brisket recipe: In roaster, garlic powder, salt and pepper brisket, sliced onions on top, cover with a jar Heinz chile sauce...brown uncovered for 20 minutes. Then, cover with 1-2 cans beer (the cheaper the beer, the better), cover and cook 20-30 minutes per pound depending on the heat of your oven. So yummy. The beer tenderizes the meat and cheaper beer is better due to the higher carb content.

A camp is a cottage--I own a neat little camp on a lake near Burlington--I haven't been able to use it much since I lost my daughter. If you are near Vermont you are free to stay there.

It's a nice community and good swimming, canoeing--near the green mountains to climb. Pretty ideal. Last summer Megan and her 3 boys were there with me, but this year I don't know. I'm thinking end of July, early August--I need to check on things. Had a new roof last year.

I'm reading the owners' manual for my thermostat for my furnace and A/C. I have heat, but no A/C (not that I've needed it so far). I was going to try to fix it myself; but it seems that I'll still have to call in a repairman since it doesn't address the problem I'm having. (sorry I'm not very talkative tonight, just thought I'd explain why).
