I gave up trying to be good enough, tor. I sang one of the soprano parts and one of the alto parts for the virtual choir this year (my first singing "gig" in over a decade) and for the alto part I had massive allergies, was exhausted from multiple takes of the soprano part and had only practiced four times. I say, life is short, go for it! I even hit a few right notes on the alto part!
