I have a solution to your dusting problem pug. If you don't rush it, after a year or so, it forms into kind of a felt pad, much easier to remove then.

it's actually good for them, in my opinion. They come back from every 2-week break pretty refreshed (as do I). And, there's an "intersession" option, where some of our kids who need extra help can come and get it during the first week of the 2-week break

hah! My IPad - 16 months old with no warranty died.. had to be replaced with a refurbished one with only a 90 day warranty for $250. My 3 /12 y old refrigerator died... had to pay a repairman $116 to find out that I need a very expensive repair (no warranty of course) and should replace the frigerator. Cell phone died..... Been dogsitting a 13 year old dog who misses his home and family and is using my entire house as his potty... shall i go on?

There are both advantages & disadvantages to being in a split position. The advantage is I get 30min for travel, a 30 minute prep and an hour lunch. The disadvantage is that is 2 whole hours of the day of non-teaching time
