your thundering dogs remind me of something ruby. I the middle of the night we were frequently awakened by a thundering sound. we would get up and investigate and but not find anything. this went on for months, we started to speculate about ghosts. then one night I go to the bathroom and one of the cats is sitting in the tub. As i attend to things he starts running laps, running fast enough to go up on the sides of the tub like the cycle cage riders at the carny. Made a tremendous thundering sound.
