You already have the screw embedded in your jaw bone, right? The permanent tooth will fit on the abutment which screws onto the jaw screw.

I never had a temporary tooth because the implant was a molar. I just had a cap screwed on top of the screw. You have a front tooth so I suspect that is why you have a temporary tooth.

I spent SO much on tooth #30 over the years, after chronic pain--filling replaced, root canal then crown, root canal failed so I had an apicoectomy (read about it--awful experience!), failed apicoectomy, then extraction, then implant...maybe $10000 total.
