I work on paper and then type all my words in, and when I finished doing that I was disappointed in myself.

I think of myself as at least moderately intelligent until I do these puzzles and listen to you all talk about scoring in the 1500s!

I don't know how you all go about this, but I tend to enter the words I find in Excel and then look for plurals, prefixes, past tenses, etc.

Then I enter the words one by one (most of the time finding there's quite a few I'd found that are not accepted--wrythen was one today.

Then I leave the site for a couple of hours and look for more words.

Then I leave the site again for a few hours and look for even more words. I find I've almost always missed loads of words, often very simple ones too.

Right now I've got 152 words for a total of 2359 points. And yes, I'm struggling :)

i don't use any kind of aides to help find words. that's probably why my score is so low and you're so high. wouldn't you rather find the words on your own?

yeah, getting help spoils the fun... especially for those of us playing it the hard way, when we get depressingly low scores in comparison, after hours of brain-racking...

I kinda don't get why there are so many complaints about proper nouns not being words...it's kind of like Scrabble, isn't it? Proper nouns are never allowed.

That said, I never have enough time to get a decent score, proper nouns or no.
