We have a problem with a grey squirrel. You have to admire the ingenuity but it eats more than the birds. We put the balls (sorry Molly) in an inner cage that holds 4 of them and then has another wire cage outside so small birds like tits (again sorry Molly) can climb into the outside area and the squirell can't reach.

No. DCC are frightened to death about being sued if a branch falls on a car. They go around at the start of the nesting season and flail all the hedges. Birds, what birds? Then they start on the trees so they are all one sided. Even if there is a verge there, they are the same. The hedges are all reduced to a metre tall and look like concrete blocks. Even the farmers are in on the game too.

My bairn is taking science as a gcse next year and it now includes all sciences, but when i went to scholl many years ago, we could just take one or all three. i wasn't any good at physics and didn't enjoy chemistry so i took biology

The bairn wants to train blind dogs but i've told her she needs to spread her horizon, and do things with other animals, but she will need science to help to start and as she gets older she can then go to college and university and do other things
