No operation but I had a CT scan - which was an interesting experience. And I have to go back next week for a colonoscopy - which I'm not looking forward to. And yet again the antibiotics knocked my bowels for six! But I'm feeling a whole heap better now

For my colonoscopy they have sent me two massive sachets of powder to clear me out. Have heard it is quite an atomic concoction so that should be fun. Is it really 57 words? Oh you'd laugh - talking of gardening - the previous occupant decided to remove ALL stones from the soil many years ago and now we have such poor drainage the soil is like dark sand - it's a nightmare to tend but me and Diane are determined to do it. I do my corned beef in the crock pot for 8 to 10 hours, until it is falling apart tender. Then I dice it into big chunks and saute with onion and diced potatoes. After that has simmered a good long while, I add shredded cabbage and corn.
