i am pretty sure the wound was quite deep. it has to heal from the bottom up. there is no use in the skin healing, if the wound bed is still raw. otherwise pugs, you may get another 'sinus' full of fluid/pus.

I know, rose. But it bled the first day for more than 5 hours. And heavily. And now this night again. So I am worried... about blood loss and about it not being bandaged/taped well enough.

We now have another Doberman who was going to be euthanized for being "too shy", a Shepherd mix that was found in a ditch and was so shy no one wanted to adopt her so we foster failed, and when my MIL passed away we got her Chihuahua/French Bulldog mix she had rescued.
