Back again! Getting a bit concerned, too. My neighbour has a bees nest in his garden and I'm getting worried they're gonna start causing us a problem. We both live in social housing and the housing authority says they don't deal with the problem. He's been quoted, privated, over £200 to have it dealt with privately which he can't afford, and I don't know much about bees nests but as we have a dog I'm really worried he's going to get stung when he goes in the garden

Trouble is they've taken to nesting in an old birdbox on his wall. He says he has another nest around the other side of his house, but I suspect it's the same nest that is extending through his roof as he says they are in his house too. The apiarist is the one that quoted him £200 as they are not honey bees. Some european wasps are quite harmless, I know, but the bees, as I say, are only showing around 20 or so at a time floating around the nest and I believe there are probably thousands in the nest. I'm just hoping they don't decide to move over to our garden. I'm doing some research online as we speak . . .
