fyi, that Ji9gidi puzzle of the tree canopy was one my beloved took last week. They are actually maple trees. Our maples usually do not grow with a height such as what you see here, but this part of the hiking trail is in a protected area of the Bruce trail, and trees such as these, left undisturbed develop this height and canopy appearance in a race to the sunlight. They are at least 150 feet in hight and rare.

it is actually the highest point of land in the georgian bay area, and popular with the day hikers. Had a calorie counter thing-a-majig on my iphone running and i burnt 2200 calories getting to the place:)

I just read your bio.... sorry for that Sue. I have a friend who went through VERY similar circumstances as Frank . She is now fit and healthy, and golfs at least 4 times a week.... and has worn a colostomy bag for 4 years now. Her cancer has not come back..... Take heart !!
