gosh, that reminds me. at the time don went out and collected a few, they were the size of oranges. he put them in our freezer. then weeks later he wanted to show someone the size. when he opened the freezer, no hailstones. he accused me of throwing them out.....until i pointed out that this is a frost-free freezer.
