I start out the day tired, but at least the work is progressing pretty fast. we used to get minus 30c- minus 40c in Jan-Feb quite a few times. These days we are lucky if it dips below minus 20c all winter long; plus, the winters seem to end a month earlier than years ago.

exciting news in our household -- have booked our next trip to Europe for the fall (both knees should be good as new by then). We'll begin with 4 days on the Amalfi coast to get acclimatized then join our land/cruise tour from Rome (3days) to Venice for 3 days (via Asissi and Florence) then on board ship for 8 days cruising the Aegean. :-)
