My dryer broke recently and am determind not to buy another on as the electricity bill so far is way too high. Wondering how the mothers of yesterday coped with wet days when the washing needs to be dried.

you need a drying rack, zooz. Easy as pie. And clothes pegs. Or what are they called. Pin up the clothes, make sure there is a bit of room in between each, so they can dry out quickly. Rinse and repeat.

I have had a pile of books by my bedside and have now got down to the last six books.The last six books are by an author called Marcel Proust. I opened up the first page and good grief! the writing is so tiny i could hardly see the letters! Was so used to the other book text being larger lol

Well, not the best. It seems I had a minor heart attack that I didn't even notice. Now the doctor has me on meds.
