you have to be really careful to introduce them (a new dog).. so that he doesn't become territorial.. meet the dog on neutral ground and do not leave toys or bones on the floor where they can fight over them.

Her reply (every time!) was that he made her laugh & also could understand her sense of humor too. I have a friend who divorced her husband of 32 years. She swore off men for about8 years; then he daughter signed her up for one of those dating sights (I don't remember which one though). She found a lovely guy & they've been married for 2 years now.
(Her first husband started drinking & became an alcoholic; she didn't want to date after that because she didn't want to date the same character faults as the first one.)
