she was a little apprehensive - the program she's in is partial spanish immersion - she gets her science and math instruction from one teacher in the morning in spanish, and reading and writing from another in the afternoon

my eldest daughter took spanish in junior high and high school and decided, at age 16, that she wanted to do a year of foreign exchange in argentina - was she surprised! (but came home bilingual)
