6:14 pm
youngster

Rabbit. Ok. Thanks again. I keep looking at letters closer together. I'll get the hang of this eventually. Won't I?
6:16 pm
Rabbit

Sure you will. the more you play the easier it will get, because you will start to see words as soon as you see the board. Also the more words you learn the better. I'm still new at this as well. I've only been playing about a month.
6:20 pm
youngster

And you're at no. 62 already in the ranking!!!!
6:23 pm
Rabbit

Don't let that fool you. I am currently able to spend many hours in front of my computer to play this game. Once I am able to find a job that time will no longer exist and I won't be able to keep that ranking. Of that I am sure.
6:25 pm
youngster

But you're already an expert. By that time, you'll only need a fraction of the time, and I'll still be struggling.
6:30 pm
Karin

There`s an a/6 for 42. I don`t have a definition for it .
6:31 pm
Rabbit

I am only able to do as well as I have because the others on this site help out so much. I read the clues given by everyone and that helps me to find words staring me in the face. I still miss many of them. To give an example, it wasn't until the clue about "story time" that I got the "O" word.
6:34 pm
youngster

Karin, could you say if it's the top or bottom 'a'?
6:35 pm
youngster

Rabbit. I know, the clues are great, but I'm still only at 43 words for 512
6:37 pm
Rabbit

I'm only at 45 for 554
6:38 pm

But I need to go to bed soon, so you'll be way ahead. This is getting addictive, and I'm struggling to get up in the mornings.
6:41 pm
Rabbit

I understand that. I'm getting ready to break for dinner. Don't know that I will be able to get back later.
6:44 pm
youngster

periwinkle

Rabbit, Thanks. With your help I found the A/20. Don't know why I didn't see it myself.
6:44 pm

6:45 pm
youngster

Karin, can you help out with that other a word?
6:47 pm
Rabbit

6:55 pm
Rabbit

it begin's and ends with A
6:55 pm
Karin

6:56 pm

7:04 pm
periwinkle

thank you, Rabbit and Karin. I have actually heard of the word but never thought to look for it. Would not have found it without your help. :)
7:05 pm
youngster

Well it's not exactly an every day conversation piece is it? Think I'll be discussing 'accessory or adjoining anatomical parts, as ovaries and oviducts in relation to the uterus' during tea-beak tomorow!
7:06 pm
Rabbit

LOL!!!!!!!!!!
7:09 pm
youngster

I could just have breakfast now to save time in the morning, so I could stay on longer......hhhmm

7:44 pm
marigold

youngster, may I have a clue for the O word you just found.
7:44 pm
marigold

still hoping for clues to the 7/44 and 7/56. Pretty please? What letters do they start with?
7:47 pm
youngster

marigold, use the top 'o'. Almost sounds as though it's to do with one of the senses.
7:49 pm
youngster

dimwit, and your cats are called...?
7:51 pm
youngster

I only have one 'c' word 4/6. Any clues on the others?

8:10 pm
youngster

8:10 pm
Christine

Did someone post a clue to the N-word? I have only the little 4/11..... someone mentioned what a nice word it is??
And, your 'anatomical' word... I noodled it from your clues, then googled the word, which gave another perfectly good word (an extension of the A5 we already) have, but BabbleBoss doesn't like that one.
8:11 pm
periwinkle

marigold, have you found the r/56 yet?
8:12 pm
Christine

Wow... did you notice that? 'have' escaped from the stockade...
8:13 pm
periwinkle

I only have the n/4/11 too. Would appreciate help with finding the other N word.
8:16 pm
youngster

Christine, I think they were meaning the 'nice letter n' at the bottom of the grid, which no-one seemed to notice for making the 7/64 word
8:17 pm
Christine

Periwinkle... it begins RE, with the 5/14 word.
Will someone post a clue to the N-word, please.....
8:23 pm
periwinkle

Christiine, I figured it must start with RE but I just can't see it. :(
8:25 pm
Christine

Thanks, youngster.... I was looking for a really nice word, maybe 17 letters? Kukana listed two N-words, so I'm still looking;
8:27 pm

8:32 pm
periwinkle

As christine said, my idea was almost right. You need to change one letter in the middle..

Christine

hmmm... couple of great thoughts, here... I got the N6 using the points given. I'm not familiar with this word, as is, but prefix it with IN, and there you are - a very common word... who knew?
And my H-words are all 4 -letters.

The H 5/20 means "curved rise to a higher part." Now I have to find two more 7s. ARGGGGHHH . Especially for the second "C" one

I know my 66th ranking is at stake here, but I think I'll pass on the last two 7's and the other bazillion words I'm missing and go to bed LOL

Christine

These are my stats... 56 for 830... let's compare...
A -- 5/4 - 3/5 - 1/6 - 2/7
C -- 2/4
D -- 2/4 - 1/4 - 1/6
E -- 4/4 - 1/5
G -- 1/4
H -- 9/4 - 1/5
I -- 1/4
L -- 2/4 - 1/7
M -- 4/4
N -- 1/4
O -- 2/4
P -- 1/4 - 1/6
R -- 3/4
That's 40/4s, 6/5s, 5/6s and 5/7s.
Ninety minutes left, to find 20 words... I think I can, I think I can...

Dimwit - your A7 produces lace? I think that's why it's included... as is the G4, producing Quimper(sp) faience.

As dawn is fast approaching I don't think I have the energy for full stats - but I have 60 for 837, and my As are - 4/6. 4/7, 7/36. 4/6. 5/16. 5/24, 5/24. 4/11. 4/11

So close yet so far....64/948

I have 5 7's (2A, C, L, R)

Unfortunately I think I'm done....I think I'm missing a C, E, F, L, and R.
