i used to iron clothes when my kis were small. my mother in kaw bought my 2 girls lovely dresses. one weekend after putting in a 50m hour work week - i decided to do the ironing .. there were 26 beautiful frilly dresses plus all the other stuff for wakter and myself... clled gramma gerry and said next batch of stufff for the girls had damned well better be wash and wear because i woul never do this again... i threw my iron away two weeks later because gramma woukld pick up their laundry ad do it... that was 55 years ago... heh heh

I made the mistake of buying several tops this past year that are 100% cotton; it's bad enough that even if I rush downstairs & pull them out of the dryer on time; they still need touch ups with the iron.
