FW, and for me, it was the first time EVER that I've completed the grid WITHOUT using a dictionary at the end! Now I know that most of you NEVER use a dictionary, some wouldn't ever think of using a dictionary to finish the grid, and some might think that using a dictionary is cheating, so I'm very proud of this accomplishment !

Judy, great feeling to get anywhere with your goals in this game. I started out 10+ years ago pushing to finish the daily grid until it became a daily grind. Now I don't look at anything but the grid (except the current chat once in a while) and do a Half Plus One. The funny thing about that is that I may struggle to get to that half, but once I do -- surprise! a bunch of other words come flying into my brain and all of a sudden I find myself about 3/4ths of the way to FW. Two or three times a year I -- shhh! don't tell -- I give in and go All the Way. That works for me, now. Find what suits your babbletime limits and your satisfaction and just go with the flow, girl.

Hi jwr.....my experience with Babble is very similar to your own. Just got to 75 words with this grid in about 25 minutes but now stuck. In the old days I would feel bereft if I couldn't find the time to finish it but now I'm much more relaxed about it. Babble can become a bit too addictive I think.
