7 for 48...that's nice, but that 8 for 65 is nicer. i know there are far more words in here than i can even begin to see.
12:48 am

Incredible - I see the words faster than I can enter them. ;-)

Sprite - there's at least one online solver out there - people have various methods for getting stats about the words without actually looking at the words in the list.
2:38 am
sprite

They must have an almost superhumane selfcontrol! *S*
2:40 am
sprite

I really like to play when there are stats, btw - nice to know what I'm aiming for. Thanks!
8:23 am

And an 8/75!
9:06 am
Kirsty1

Anybody fancy sharing? I currently have 10 of the 15 T's:

Ta4 x 1
Ta6 x 1
Te4 x 3
Te5 x 1
Ti4 x 3
Ti5 x 1

Any thoughts on what's missing??
9:09 am
sprite

There's another Ti5
9:10 am
Kirsty1

Thanks Sprite :O)
9:12 am
sprite

How are you doing with the 8's? I have 5 now.
9:15 am
Kirsty1

Not good! Only 3 so far, but I haven't been boggling for long...A, F and P...
9:17 am
sprite

F, H, P, P, S so far. I'll go looking for the A!
9:19 am
Kirsty1

Righto, S and P for me...
9:24 am

The full T list is:

I have A8 I'm looking for the S
9:32 am

S8 how you should behave

Any clue for the A8? I keep seeing that A7...
9:35 am
Minski

The A-8-50 is the plural of an A-7-36.
9:36 am
Kirsty1

I've just found an R8 for 40, meaning most turbulent.
9:39 am
sprite

The A7/36 I have has no plural... :-(
9:42 am
Kirsty1

I have two Ai7 x 36 words which could explain the problem. I'm guessing you have the one that means perhaps...if so you need to look for another Ai7 x 36 and then stick an s on the end of it. A clue is it is a disorder.
9:43 am
sprite

I have a whole world to explore there, I see... I have an Am7/36.
9:45 am
sprite

I am ashamed... so very blind for the obvious! Thanks, found it.
9:46 am
Kirsty1

Ha! Well, thanks for the clue, I had quite a few similar looking words, but not that one..
10:02 am
parsec

O7 for 28
10:03 am

and an E for 36.
10:04 am
sprite

There are 3 E7's for 36.
10:27 am
Kirsty1

Thinking out loud about 8s, I believe the chat has so far mentioned:

A, F, H, P, P, R, S

So that still leaves 3 unaccounted for so far...
11:16 am
Kirsty1

Now painfully aware that I am talking to myself ... there are at least three f8s in total (55,65,65). Which means there is now only one 8 unaccounted for...
11:49 am
jlm_mi

Hey Kirsty - You are not alone here! :) I can't help with the 8s, and maybe not with the 7s either, but I'll list the 7s that I have because I know that not all of them have been mentioned.

7-36 A

11:58 am

And a 3rd 7-36 P
12:04 pm
Kirsty1

Great stuff! I can add an F7x40, another 2 P7x36, and another R7x28 - which I reckon gets us up to 25 - only one more to find!
12:05 pm
Kirsty1

...and I wrote that before I'd seen your last post, so we're still looking for one more...
12:05 pm
jlm_mi

So you have 4/7-36 P at this point, right?
12:07 pm
Kirsty1

Yep 4 P7x36 :o)
12:18 pm
Kirsty1

I've just found the final 8 - it's a P for 75. I'd never heard the word before and is something to do with hair.
12:31 pm
jlm_mi

Kirsty - If I'm reading the posts right there are also two other 8-letter words beginning with P. Do you have the points for those?
1:03 pm
boatierra

Can almost make 'hermit'...
1:18 pm
jlm_mi

There is an 8-50 S that I don't think has been mentioned (I now have 2 8-50 S words). The "how you should behave" one was mentioned earlier. The one I just found is a chemical.
1:49 pm
jlm_mi

OK, another recap of 7s and 8s. I have (I think) all the 8s and all but 1 7:

Wow, the only letter I've found all of is T, thanks to clues earlier. This is a tough puzzle to get the last 25% or so words on! Anyone want to compare various starting letters? I'll start with F and S:

FA4x1,FA6x1, FA7x1, FA8x1
FE4x2, FE5x1, FE6x1
Fi4x4, Fi5x4, Fi6x2, Fi7x2, Fi8x1
FO4x3, FO6x2, FO7x3, FO8x1

SE4x5, SE6x1, SE8x1
ST4x2, ST5x1, ST8x1
2:09 pm
parsec

I have an SE5 and an ST5 you are missing.
2:26 pm
parsec

Ps?

PA4x2, PA5x1, PA6x4, PA7x3, PA8x1
PH4x1
PI4x5, PI5x2, PI8x1
2:27 pm
fnurt

There is at least one more FO4.
2:32 pm
jlm_mi

I have PA5x2, and PA7x4
2:37 pm
jlm_mi

OK, how about some that we might be able to find all of more easily. :)

N: all I have are NE - 4x4 and 1x5
O: Oi5, Oi6, Oi7, OM4, OM5
W - Wi4x2, Wi5x2, Wi7, WR5
2:39 pm
parsec

ah, missed me some plurals. Also there are two more SE5s (for a total of three) that build in various ways off of a four.
2:41 pm
fnurt

There is at least one more NE4 and a WE4.
2:41 pm
parsec

WE4x1. Should be familiar.
2:49 pm
runningforhome

I have an OR5.
2:52 pm
Boo

I now have two Or5
3:05 pm
jlm_mi

i's?

3:06 pm

I'm still on the Ps: I found a third Pi5
3:11 pm
fnurt

jlm, are there really, truly, 2 ST4's? :)
3:15 pm
Boo

I just got a third Inx5
3:15 pm
Boo

oops...I mean a third inx6!! :-)
3:18 pm
jlm_mi

fnurt - no, I apparently have ST4x1 and ST5x3. Sorry! :)
3:20 pm
Boo

I found an imx5
3:23 pm
cjustine

any clues on that P/8/75?
3:24 pm
Boo

The dictionary def is:
Having the form of a hair
It sounds kind of like something you'd use to form a small cushion (use some imagination here) ;-)
3:24 pm
jlm_mi

cjustine - that's the one that has to do with hair that Kirsty1 mentioned earlier.

It's a compound word formed from two 4-letter words that, of course, are both in this puzzle.
3:26 pm
jlm_mi

Boo - did you find the iM6 that goes with your iM5 (assuming it's the same one I have)? And cute clue for the P8-75. :-D
3:28 pm
Boo

yes, my two im words go together.
Thanks :-)
3:31 pm
Boo

and now I'm only one short.
I have:
il4, im5, im6, in4, in5x2, in6x3
Does that match what you have right now?
3:32 pm
jlm_mi

Unfortunately, yep, it's the same. Will keep searching for that elusive last i word. :)
3:36 pm
cjustine

got that P/8/75, thanks guys! :D
3:39 pm
Boo

GOT IT! in6!!! (for a total of in6x4)
Now to catch up on another letter...
3:43 pm
jlm_mi

I was just going to post the same thing!
3:51 pm
jlm_mi

I'm going to keep moving on to other letters even though we haven't completed the ones I posted earlier. We may never get some of them done! :)

E: EL6, EL7, EM4, EN5, EN6x2, EN7
H: HE4x6, HE5x2, HE8, Hi4x2
3:52 pm
Boo

I think they should give us more than 24 hours on puzzles like this :-)
3:54 pm
jlm_mi

It might help, but sometimes it just feels better to start with something fresh the next day. :)
3:57 pm
Boo

I'm way behind on Es, but I got El5x2 and El6x2 (both are pairs)
4:01 pm
jlm_mi

Just to clarify, those are EL not Ei, is that right?
4:01 pm
jlm_mi

Yes, they must be. Just found one of the pairs. :)
4:12 pm
Kirsty1

jlm - I have just returned (having rescued a field mice from the grip of my cat, but that, as they say is another story) to see that I did indeed misinform you earlier - sincere apologies. At least I can see it didn't affect your 8 seeking cause too badly! I haven't read all the posts I've missed yet but I'm getting there with 26 left to find...
4:13 pm
jlm_mi

OK, a bunch more:

BE4x6, BE5x4, BE6x3, BE7, Bi4x2, Bi5x2, Bi6, BL4x4, BL5x3, BL6, BR4

Kirsty1

The final tally for S's is:

Se4 x 7
Se5 x 3
Se6 X 1
Se8 x 1
St4 x 1
St5 x 3
St8 x 1
4:28 pm
jlm_mi

Thanks Kirsty! Getting closer here - 35 to go, but alas, only few more minutes to find them. I probably won't be back on tonight after that.
4:29 pm
jlm_mi

To add to my lists below, I've found one more Li4, one Bi4 and one Bi5.
4:30 pm
Boo

I found one Be4 more(total 7) and a total of Bi4x5.
4:35 pm
jlm_mi

Found an EN5 to complete the Es.
4:38 pm
Kirsty1

Just for the sake of completeness..the missing 7 from Jlm's list a while back is an R36
4:41 pm
jlm_mi

Karin - It seems so obvious now that you say that! I was missing the 6/7 combo. Maybe the fact that I'm hungry helped me find it. :)
4:41 pm
jlm_mi

My bad - I meant Kirsty, not Karin! :-O
4:45 pm
jlm_mi

Yay - I was able to find another Li4 (so I have 14 total now) to bring me over 4000, and I must go now with 252/4002. Have fun babbling, all! :)
4:52 pm

Questions to all...out of all the P words, do any of them begin with Ph? I currently do not have any P words to speak of.
5:11 pm
Boo

There are clues from about 2:20 about the p words. Only one starts with ph
:-)
5:11 pm
cjustine

i haven't found any Ph yet
5:11 pm
boatierra

Take it back, apparently I am totally blind to the fact that I have5 P words, the fifth one of which I just found that begins with a Ph......
5:12 pm
boatierra

Well, that must be the one I just found. Thanks Boo :)

I simply cannot find that 3rd F8.
I have an Fa8 and an Fo8. Can someone please tell me what I am missing?
5:19 pm
fnurt

There is an Fi8 that means to rule on a paternity suit. Maybe lawyer-1 could help you with that.
5:20 pm
fnurt

Actually, a Fi7/8 I should say.
5:29 pm
boatierra

Oh no, I've entered only down to the Fa.... no time to enter A-E..... ran out of time.
Tomorrow....
