our venerable clue giver is in this grid
What a great way to start my day!
@ runningforhome: a little late but no less sincere: happy birthday!
And to answer yesterday's question: I am 38 and live in Holland, with my love and our 2 kids.
Great to have stats already, thanks Krys10.
2x P8/60, differ only in one letter
which R does the r/66 start with?
The one between the C and the M
sprite, good morning, may I please have a clue for the R/9.
It is a 8/9 combo: swift and witty reply(ies).
There is this P4/6 that pops up in a grid often, meaning "swift Malayan sailboat". I mistyped and found an anagram without def, also starting P.
E7/36 : tough, wiry grass (Stipa tenacissima) of northern Africa
Funny, a french word (A5/14) that makes me think of skying.
I am missing 2 6s, both S.
Se4 x6, Se5, Se6
Sp4 x3, Sp5 x6, Sp6 :)
St4 x3, St5 x5, St7
Sw5 x3, Sw7
What am I missing, please?
sprite - I guess we've now both been immortalized here. :-D
Missing a T, could use a hand.
Te4 x 6, Te5 x 3, Te6 x 2
Ti4 x 5, Ti5 x 3, Ti6
To4 x 5, To5 x 5, To6 x 3
Tr4 x 5, Tr5 x 6, Tr6 x 2
LOL testing! Guess we are...
Anyone who could help me with those Ss?
To6 x4 (18-24-18-18)
Thanks for the T, was obvious yet I missed it. Working on S words now, hopefully I can help you in a few mins.
Sprite, thanks for the birthday greetings! It's not 'til tomorrow, so you're not late at all. :)
Great day then to you, tomorrow, runningforhome!
@ taglos: that would be great! I need only 2 more words and I can not find them...
Sprite I have SE6 x 3 (24, 24, 30)
Thanks. Mine is a 24, right after a 4/4. Are the other 2 obvious words?
*roflol* Babble IS using babbler's names! Found one of the missing Se6s. Looks strange, but when I looked up the def it said first and last part can be switched and THAT word I know. :)
Hehe you must have found the unit of measure in space :) The other word I got lucky on, it shares the same third letter as the one you found. Means to discern as separate; discriminate.
Yes! Thanks a lot, Taglos, found it right away with your clue. Guess that's it then:
235 words / 4.77 / 3129 points
Grats! Happy to help :) Nice to be able to provide help for a change :)
part of my screen name is here - means
elf or fairy
May I please have clues for the P/8's. Can't seem to find them :(. Thanks
Clues for the two P8s: (1) state of being (here), (2) deception
thanks metags, got one of them (state of being), still looking for the other.
May I please have a clue for the H/8.
the H8 is a superlative of a H4 meaning gray or white with age
thanks, again, metags, found it. already had the H4. Had not thought to make it superlative.
sprite, I found an anagram of your name.
anyone else still playing?
